The Emerge Lakefront Podcast is here

Produced and hosted by Lakefront resident John Lack, every episode features a different resident answering three existential questions: Who are you?, What brought you to Lakefront?, and “What’s one topic you’re passionate about?”

A new episode with different residents will drop bi-weekly!

First out - Stephen Reid. Meta-modern technologist, facilitator, coach and founder of the events platform Dandelion.

New Pod rooms & new prices

We just finished building our first pod room, an initiative to enable more people to live at Lakefront at a more affordable cost, but still maintain some comfort and privacy. The price for pods is 545 euros (6000 SEK) per month, all cost included.

Prices for apartments have now also been lowered to offer more competitive rental prices.

Latest Happenings

IDG Summit Decompression

Lakefront hosted the official IDG Summit Decompression event which quickly sold out at max capacity of 250 guests. An evening of integration, connection, community, art, and togetherness. We had playback theatre, house tours, our own food truck, DJ, and a very special art experience.

One year anniversary & Brunch crawl

It’s now been one full year since the first brave initiating residents set foot in the house - what a wild journey it’s been!

One of the most wonderful internal events we’ve had here so far was the brunch crawl, initiated by Stephen and Laura. 8 different residents opened up their home and provided a unique experience and treats for 20-30 min before we moved on to the next one. We had ecstatic dance and ginger shots, a barista café, poetry reading, sound journey, and a group pregnancy blessing for Stephen and Laura, to just mention a few.

Impact Lab Friday #5

Another wonderful co-working Friday filled with inspiration and connection. Around 50 people gathered for breakfast, a mastermind session, co-working and inspiring talks. One of our most popular event series keeps breathing - see further down for last one of the year on nov 28.

Meet Philip: one of the Lakefront initiators

After soon a decade as a serial impact entrepreneur, and 7 years co-creating and living in intentional communities, Philip joined the creation of Emerge Lakefront one year ago as one of its first residents, now leading all things communications and events.

“What pulled me into this project is its intention to not only function as a catalyst for wellbeing, growth and impact of its residents, but to be a node deeply connected to the world and its challenges.”
